A reservoir engineer who codes for fun.
I have a degree in Petroleum Engineering from UT Austin and have worked in the upstream oil and gas industry since I graduated in 2012. I moved to Oklahoma four years ago and have been a Thunder fan ever since! In my free time I like to learn instruments - right now I'm obsessed with the acoustic guitar.
As a reservoir engineer, I evaluate economics, forecast production, and spend a lot of time in Excel figuring out how much oil is still in the ground. I have also spent time in operations and drilling engineering as part of my training program. I'm familiar with a plethora of industry software; my training and certifications can be found on my LinkedIn.
I'm an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and an editor for the young professional's magazine. Here are some of my favorite articles I contributed to.
